Another way to locate cheap prom dresses is to keep an eye out for sales at your favorite boutiques. If you do not find any this way go online and browse dress shops as quite often there are dresses under $100 for sale on these sites. Do not neglect to check large department stores such as Penney’s and Macy’s as their dresses are often even cheaper, meaning that you could very well pick up a lovely dress for just $40 or so.
You could also find an affordable prom dress by looking on one of the many online auction websites. Quite often young women put their used dresses for sale on these sites and if you are really fortunate you could end up with a real bargain this way. If you choose to use an auction site, be sure that you only do business with a reputable seller by checking feedback ratings to ensure the person selling is on the up-and-up. And if all else fails, asks your girlfriends where they are buying their dresses as you may have overlooked an obvious source.
