What I’m about to make apparent to you, is the average day for 97% of the Network Marketers that fail. Envision the humor of it, but relate to the seriousness of it.
You pull into the Starbucks parking lot. You look over your image…after you recognize that you look decent enough to prospect, you stroll through the entrance. Your phone is strapped to your waist and your eyes are mapping the place for someone skilled. Your hoping to find “THE ONE”…that one person that will make you a “Super Duper Diamond 5th Level Presidential Action Figure” You see him/her standing in line and you present F.O.R.M. to this person (Family, Occupation, Recreation, Message). You pitch your company name, and finally, They Propose The Big Subject. “Is this one of those “Pyramid Hype Things?” (Imagine being ask that subject in slow motion.)
At that very second your waiting on your thoughts from your head to arrive to your mouth, but you know that somewhere in between the two, your thoughts are stuck in a traffic jam! By then, you are praying for your cell phone to sound, but it doesn’t. And you know why it won’t ring….its by reason of you haven’t paid your statement of indebtedness. Next, you wish for someone to yell fire, barring there is not a flare in sight! Last but not least, your hoping if you could just pee on yourself and be excused, you wouldn’t have to answer the “Most Asked Issue In Mlm History” (Now that would be weird!!!)
Never Fear, The Person In The Blue Shirt is Here! So you may imagine, there’s nobody on this world that can have this kind of encounter. Well my friend, this adventure in so up my alley, that it brings back a lot memories. I have alternative stories that would make you laugh so hard that you would loose your gall bladder! A legal pyramid is the cash flow of cash going up and the cash flow of payment going down. That means the newest guy/girl can get immersed in and work his/her way past the person that recruited them. I’ve seen it over and over. From Amway to Xango, Mary Kay to Herbal Life. I like the perception that I can outwork and out earn my sponser. An unauthorized pyramid is the cash flow of cash going up, but the cash flow of capital isn’t coming down. In more words you can’t make anymore money then the person that brought you in.
If you really distinguish what I’m explaining to you, this can completely change your outlook on things. No offense, but the biggest pyramid gimmick out there is a person’s job. Think about it, you can’t make more funds than the guy/girl ( YOUR BOSS NAME HERE ) that hired you! I recollect slaving for a fast food joint. I was on register #3. With my personal knowledge and useful mental state, I help bring in over 7,000 for that particular business in an 9 hr or so work period. I was only compensated a little over $70 dollars for that time frame. I’d welcome customers, upsold merchandise, and got compensated for what that trade was valued. This is just one example I use to explain the variation between a justified and shady pyramid.
So now you have the proper tools that you need to stand with tenacity! Live bold my accomplice. So when someone ask if your business is a pyramid, don’t expect for the phone to ring, yell “Fire”, or even at worse, pee on yourself.
