Adidas Clima Cool: Dri-Fit Boxing Gloves
Adidas Bag Gloves are now made with dri-fit! They are leather and made with ClimaCool. When asked if this helps, the consensus was “yes.” It does keep your cooler.
Why do you use dri-fit in a boxing glove? The term dri-fit refers to a material that wicks sweat from the body. It is normally a tight fitting shirt. It can help keep your body cool by keeping your hands cool. Dri-fit is normally found in clothing, but not anymore!
Surprisingly, the Adidas Clima Cool gloves are leather. So you are going to get wicking and leather, which is a great match, as leather lasts much longer than vinyl.
There main feature is they are made to keep you cool, while you work hard on the bag. So why is keeping cool good? You can train longer, get less tired, and get a better technical workout in.
What if your cutting weight? You’ll still sweat. It just helps the sweat evaporate from the material. But once you’ve tired the wicking material I think you’ll stick to it. Just like once you’ve worn a dri-fit shirt, you do not want to go back to cotton.
Why use a bag glove? There are many people who do not. By rotating you keep your boxing gloves ready for boxing, and get a glove specific for the bag. The bag gloves have quite a bit of padding and really nice wrist support.
This glove is a solid investment and I think you’ll like the bonus features of the Clima Cool gloves. You’ll stay drier as sweat wicks away, and you’ll get good solid support for your hard workouts.
