COCOAHOST.COM – THE WORST HOST IN THE BUSINESS !
If you are a Online Marketer then you know that the host that you choose is your most important choice in starting your business. It’s the very foundation of your business, or should we say the bloodline of your online business. Your hosting company can actually make or break your online business, therefore it is very important, no let me refrain that, it’s of the utmost importance that you make the correct choice when choosing your hosting company to host your Business because it’s going to be a large reflection upon you to your customers.

I was fortunate in that I was only using www.CocoaHost.com as a backup hosting plan, but the character that they displayed to me when I told them that it’s best that we end our hosting relationship was the most un-professional display of Customer Service that I have witnessed in all of my years as a Online Marketer. They literally cut the service to my account in the middle of my performing a Full BackUp when I told them that I was preparing a backup to move the account elsewhere. Mind you they did this 30-Minutes after they told me I had 24-hours to comply with their alleged TOS of hosting no free domains ending in co.cc as “Add-On Domains” of which mine where not free, I paid www.co.cc $10.00 for 100 Domain registrations which full and normal payment comes due after the first year. I imagine this was their feeble attempt at trying to keep a customer thinking that they can hold your databases hostage that they are hosting for you. Again fortunately I keep backups of everything on my own hard-drive and never rely totally upon a hosting company for my backup.
The truth of the matter is that you will find many hosting companies that advertise “UnLimited Hosting” services such as un-limited domains, unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth and etc., be weary of these false claims because when you put them to the test they will fabricate any false TOS – Terms of Service to not have to Honor their claim and do this in a very un-professional manner as I have explained above, the old saying that “You Get What You Pay For !” is very true, be very careful about choosing “Cheap Hosting” because they are cheap for a reason in that they lack professional Customer Service and from my experience with www.CocoaHost.com they forever has outages up to 36-Hours at a time and then would try and explain it in that they were performing system maintenance as if that was a valid excuse for your downtime, question is how do you explain that to your customers, or make up for the money that you and your customers have lost during CocoaHost’s downtime ?, and this did not happen on one occasion, this happen at least every two weeks or more frequent even. Without a doubt www.CocoaHost.com has demonstrated all the traits of some guy in India running a hosting service out of his parents basement, not a hosting service that a serious businessman would want to use as the backbone of his online internet business.
Now that I have told you of what to beware of let me tell you of how other professional companies have handle these situations in the past. If you are dealing with a reputable professional company they will never tell you that you have 24-Hours to comply with their TOS and then literately cut your service when you tell them that you are performing a Full BackUp and that they can close the account after you download your backup, a professional company by all means would allow you to perform your backup and then terminate your service. This is standard practice because almost every Hosting Company on the planet now uses CPanel Hosting and CPanel makes it easy to BackUP everything and simply move to another host, but a unscrupulous Hosting company like www.CocoaHost.com will try and cut your service before you get a chance to perform your backup and then want you to crawl and beg them for your database and backup files, rule number one, always have recent backups.
Secondly a professional company upon having to perform any type of service maintenance would always have a backup server to switch to thus not having any downtime for their clients, and then simply switch back to the alleged upgraded server upon completing the maintenance.
