Long ago in 1530, something magical happened. After all that, it was an American that later came up with the word bingo. In 1929, a toy salesman named Edwin S. Lowe coined the phrase bingo after watching the game being played in a fair in Georgia. This gentleman saw a lot of potential and, after hiring someone to design the bingo cards, began introducing bingo to the population of the USA.
