Eating Disorder

Eating disorder is a human behavior towards eating the meals; some time it is over and some time the patient avoid eating. It relates to the mental illness of a person who is surfing from the eating disorder and addressed by the psychological theories and practices. It brings the patient from anguished behavior to life-threatening position which affects the daily routine of a patient. The authors have said on the eating disorder, “feelings about work, school, relationships, day-to-day activities and one’s experience of emotional well being are determined by what has or has not been eaten or by a number on a scale.” The most common eating disorders are Anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa which have been recognized by the psychology medical sciences. There are several other eating disorders which are identified as Rumination syndrome, compulsive overeating, and Selective eating disorder
Psychology Core of Human Study:
Psychology uncovers the mysteries of human behavior, human actions and the underlying mental processes that greatly impact the individual and social life of human beings. Yet it does not just limit itself to the study of humans but other species of the world have also been a subject of study for psychologists. Even when there was no existence of psychology as a formal discipline of studies in educational landscapes throughout the history of mankind its presence was there and had much to influence the social life of people. Psychology in historic perspective was a study of soul which transformed into the study of mind to the study of conscious experience and then the study of behavior and behavioral disorders. If we just confine our self to the investigation of human life we would see that psychology not only takes into account the scientific approach to determine the mental activity but it also gives immense importance to the behaviors and the hidden meanings beneath them. Anorexia nervosa:
Anorexia nervosa can be determined as some one’s consciousness about the wait loss for bad body image; it can be serious as to death. There are two types of anorexia nervosa Restricting type and Binge/Purge type. This type of eating disorder is observed very commonly in the society. The modern and stylish word has made it necessary to have a stable body image. This necessity made people conscious about their stylish looks and to have a good body image. Which create seriously bad impact on the heath of people, it is as serious as to death.
