Ways to Cope with Excessive Sweating and Body Odor

Everybody sweats. Body odor is something which we all battle at one time or another. Often, both cause problems at the same time. For the most part these problems are only temporary and are easy to fix. There are those that have to battle these issues nearly every day. Life can get very rough for those stuck in that kind of a battle. You may be able to better manage excessive sweat and body odor if you shave any extra body hair, allowing your skin to be free of these troublesome substances. Change your clothes regularly if you experience excessive sweating or body odor. You can reduce your body odor simply by changing your clothes regularly. The reason for this is that your odor causing sweat can be transferred to your clothing causing the smell to last longer. You may find your clothes are now uncomfortable because of the wet, sticky feeling it will cause you. You will find yourself quite discomforted with the damp smelly condition of your clothes. Wouldn’t you want to shed those smelly clothes to avoid feeling like that? A nice clean change of clothing handy at all times is a great way to minimize on sweat and odor problems throughout your day.

In very extreme cases, some people find that Botox injections are necessary to control their body odor and sweating. Extreme cases does not refer to the sweating you do after exercising or for every day type sweating. Understand that this treatment is a last resort for controlling intense sweating. The botox is injected to keep your nerves that control the sweat glands from triggering. It won’t take much botox to completely disable your sweat glands. This approach should not be used without first talking to your doctor and an endocrinologist. Botox should never be used without a doctor’s consent because it is a poison. Having to deal with excessive sweating and body odor can be difficult and embarrassing. Finding help for this condition takes courage. You also have to realize that you may not find a solution right away, as you may have to try various approaches before you find one that is helpful for you. At some point, though, you will find a treatment that is right for you, and you’ll breathe a sigh of relief. Your life will quickly improve then! You simply have to do whatever it takes to get past this!
