The battle of the LED televisions VS LCD televisions

I am definitely an avid TV watcher so I wanted to know who would win the battle of LED television VS LCD televisions. The winner of your LED television VS LCD television decision may be up to the way you want to mount your TV up as well. The thickness and weight of your new TV is very important, especially if you are looking to mount it on the wall. The LED TVs are actually much slimmer than the LCD TVs and because of that they will often weigh up to half of what the same sized LCD would. For a wall mounting TV there is no doubt that the LED wins the battle.

Looking out for the environment is also important so it might interest you to know who wins the mercury battles in LED television VS LCD television competition. The straight forward truth is that there is no mercury used in the production of LED TVs and there with LCD TVs. Mercury can be very bad for the environment inside and out so avoiding it anytime you can is important. Out of the two versions, LED and LCD, the LCD TV is definitely the cheapest. In fact, and LED television can cost you up to 30% more than an LCD would be. If you want an upfront savings then the LCD would be your choice but remember that the LED TV actually uses less energy and could save you money in the long run. While most everything in the LED television VS LCD television research was leaning towards the LED TVs, I did come across at least some support for the LCDs.

It was good to know I could still enjoy something I bought without feeling guilty of the added electricity because LED televisions actually use 40% less energy than an LCD TV of the same exact size. That is definitely a pro for the LEDs in the LED television VS LCD television competition. However, in the LCD TV’s defense you are only paying about $150 to $200 a year to keep it running. However, a lot of people cannot afford that extra $200 a month. LED standing for light emitting diode, has some strong differences between the LCD. Between the two, it definitely has the best state of the art picture quality. I am a huge football ban so I wanted to make sure every game I wanted to watch would come out clear and stay that way.

I love watching television and the first time I spent a good amount of money on a TV, I had to make the winning decision between the LED television VS LCD television battle. I had never owned either one of them so I wanted to do some research before I spent my hard earned money on one. After all the back and forth I decided on an LED television over the LCD because of the clarity is had. The picture was simply better so I went with that one.
