Looking for a new LED LCD TV shouldn’t be a daunting process so there are some things you should know about each type of TV before you spend your money on one. Whichever LED LCD TV you get there are some important differences in the two that make effect your decision. One of the biggest differences in the two is the materials used for productions. For example, Mercury is used in the production of LCD TVs but not in LED TVs. Another big difference that may sway your decision when trying to find a LED LCD TV is that an LED TV actually tends to use 30-40% less energy than an LCD of the equivalent size.
The back light in both TVs are very different and is the key component to differentiating the two. An LCD TV is lit by cathode light source installed within the TV and an LED TV is lit by light emitting diodes which can actually create a more realistic picture when you watch it. Your new LED LCD TV should be something that you really want so take your time when selecting. I worked in an electronic store for two years and I would see people come in looking for an LED LCD TV and buy the first one they were shown. I always recommended by customers consider where the TV would be used before buying too. Children and game rooms are pretty high risk rooms for a LED LCD TV so always opt for the warranty just in case something happens. After all, that is your hard earned money you spent on your new TV and you wouldn’t want that to go to waste.
