A search through the history of rodeo ends in a dispute among two cowboy groups in the pastures of Deer Trail, CO, when on group tried to overpower the other one with displays of might and courage. This later gave way to the idea of such games being held for fun. It was rather easy and enjoyable a game for the cow boys and herdsmen, for whom, encounters with irritated and notorious beasts was among their daily chores. Later on, these games acquired an official garb and were brought under certain rules and regulations set. The first rodeo national finals was held in 1958 by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) to determine the world rodeo champion. Ever since the first championship, the event earned more and more fans as the years passed by, and its fame flew even abroad. The rodeo tickets became so precious a thing to possess as people from even far-off places began to come in seeking national finals rodeo tickets. This made the bid for its arena obstinacy among the States to win it. However, the deep pockets of Las Vegas have been winning the bid since 1985.
