In a grotto as dazzling as you would expect from London’s financial capital, Santa will this year again take up residence in Jubilee Place. From his magical sleigh filled with presents he’ll be dishing out goodies and pointing kids in the direction of all the other free festive fun taking place in Canary Wharf this Christmas. Every weekend throughout December, kids can get involved with everything from art & craft workshops to festive face painting, and Santa’s glittering reindeer are always on hand to help if anyone gets stuck!Grotto open every weekend until Christmas, 11am- 5pm, except final weekend, 10am-4pm. Don’t go looking for Santa’s sleigh in the air but down on the ground among the wintering bird and trees at the London Wetland Centre. Families will can enjoy visiting the green grotto nestled in the pine and fir forest, where Santa is holed up in his a cosy log cabin. Afterwards there’s plenty more to do with husky sleigh rides and a range of festive activities on offer.
