How Taylor Lautner get ripped? He did it simply by having a good diet and the right workout plan.?
The second Twilight movie was going to see Taylor replaced with another actor unless he could bulk up enough. He had 9 months to build more muscle before the new movie. In the end, Taylor Lautner was able to put on 30 pounds of muscle for ‘Twilight: New Moon’ and got that ‘Ripped’ look.?
When asked in interviews about his journey from scrawny to ripped, Taylor claimed that working out was easy. The hard part was eating. Taylor’s trainer had him eating a good-sized meal every 2 hours during his training schedule. Breakfast would typically consist of a meal of bacon, toast and 6 egg whites.?
Jordan Yuam – Taylors Personal Trainer?
As you may know Taylor had Jordan Yaum as his personal trainer. In an interval Jordan told how the diet Taylor followed was created specifically for him. It was a diet only for ‘hardgainers’ or skinny guys that had trouble putting on weight, the diet is not for losing fat.?
During an interval for ‘Mens Health Magazine’ Jordan went through some of Taylor’s workout routines. Here is an excerpt.?
Pushing Yourself To Your limits?
If you want to get big and strong you need your body to get used to big loads. Yuam says that he had Taylor get used to a heavier weight than he was used to, stacking a bar with 40% more of Lautner’s normal 10 lift set to get his muscles used to bigger weight. For example, let’s say you can comfortably lift 12 pounds for a set of 10, jump that number up to 170 pounds. Make sure to only do this just for the lower half of your lift and always use a spotter. In fact this is a known method that works very well, recent research in the journal of strength and conditioning concluded that men who follow this routine will increase their leg press strength by 43% while increasing their bench strength by 28%.
Taylor Lautner has great muscle definition, almost as if his skin was ‘Shrink Wrapped’ around his muscles. This was not covered in the interview because it was by a complete accident.
