Basically, whatever equipment they need in a vehicle can be fitted to the dash in many instances. A police dash is full of cutting edge, high tech and high spec equipment and it all helps the officers be more efficient and effective. Anything that gives officers an edge over our criminal fraternity has got to be good.
If you look at crime statistics, most crimes are on an upward spiral. Crime rarely goes down and it is for this reason we need to equip our police with the absolute best up to the minute kit. Criminals don’t use out of date technology or equipment and neither should our police. Sometimes a police dash will look like something like a control panel for an interplanetary craft!
