New ChronoSwiss Timemaster Chronograph for 2010
The Timemaster Chronograph GMT With Second Time Zone is Chronoswiss’ lastest watch offering. Undoubtedly, this is a great watch with classic sporty style. All that missing is the name which is so boring. Chronoswiss should have taken some time to give a nice name to this beautiful watch with classic black and white combination and a bit of red tone. Personally, this sporty watch is a big surprise from Chronoswiss. And I am very happy that this brand becomes more and more classic recently. It seems that DLC coating is going to be one of the features of ChronoSwiss’ 2010 watch offering-the new Timemater is right coated with DLC.
Size at 44mm, the steel case, as mentioned above, is coated with black DLC. This extremely hard coating gives the watch a super cool looking. If you are not a fan of DLC which is very well-received nowadays, there is a plain steel version available. The huge onion-shape crown looks very impressive especially coated with DLC. And the lugs is rather protruding and thin. The watch has a 24 hour bi-directional rotating bezel. Via the bezel and the GMT hand, you can track the time in another timezone. And that this why this watch has “GMT with Second Time zone” in its name.
The dial of the watch comes with three color options: silver, white and black. Highly polished, the dial keeps the brand’s signature “vintage watches of flight” theme .The red tone used on the GMT hand and the date disc really brights up the whole watch and brings a sporty touch.
Powering the watch is a Swiss ETA 7750 automatic movement which has been modified and fitted with a GMT hand module.
Having an attractive look, this Chronoswiss reminds some Panerai watches produced some time ago. But Chronoswiss still has some work to do before it can receive same popularity like Panerai.
