Stress Relief Work: Signs Of Stress At Work

Work and work place is a known magnet of different stress. Stress can attack on all people who work in a certain company no matter what position he or she has. Pressure on meeting the deadlines and the amount of work that is being assigned to an employee often triggers stress.

There are a lot of factors that contribute to stress in the workplace. Interpersonal relationships with colleagues and management may affect your work. Management styles may also cause stress when there is little to no participation by workers in decision-making, poor communication, and lack of family-friendly policies. Environmental conditions in the workplace can cause problems leading to stress.

An employee who has the trait of working on extended hours even after shift just to meet the demand of the work, often banks into himself or herself different triggers of stress such as fatigue. The development of fatigue is due to lost of motivation to continue working on and sometimes leads and employee to think of quitting and this may cause to frequent absences that may also lead to decrease in performance and quality output.

People who are under stressed sometimes don’t notice that they are on their way of getting stressed out. The fact that stress is related to some emotional disorders this makes a stressed person different. There are factors that may affect the motivation of one employee to go to work, an employee who suffered headache due to disturbance in regular week.

Fatigue is a common sign of stress. If one finds himself feeling exhausted most of the time, maybe he has not relaxed for a long time already. Fatigue caused by stress contributes to low morale and job dissatisfaction. This, in turn, leads to the employees leaving the company.
