PCOS and Getting Pregnant

PCOS And Getting Pregnant

PCOS – Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is one of the most common female endocrine disorders affecting approximately 5%-10% of women of reproductive age (12-48 years old) and is thought to be one of the leading causes of female infertility and leaving many women unable to conceive naturally.

Suffering from PCOS and getting pregnant may seem like an impossibility but you must understand a lot of problems these days can be easily rectified either naturally or medically in the longer term.

Ironically most women who do go onto having a natural pregnancy often find that their PCOS does not reoccur after giving birth and often leads the way for more natural pregnancies occurring in the future, so if you suffer PCOS then be assured that there is a hope to having a successful pregnancy, but also future pregnancies are likely to be unaffected.

If you do suffer from PCOS then as you I know the emotional strain that this can put on both yourself and your partner, you often feel you may never get to have the special baby you so desire, but you must not give up – there is hope!!

Having made a number of references to plenty of articles over the internet and indeed being giving the usual medical advice myself by my doctor that there was little hope of conceiving naturally I desperately searched for an answer about PCOS and getting pregnant.

More in hope that there was some miracle cure that someone had discovered, I came across an article that gave me real hope – sceptical I read more and was astounded on the information it gave me:

Did you know:

Your make-up can cause you infertility?
Certain common household products can cause infertility?
Your diet Is key to breaking the PCOS cycle?

Me neither…..

These were things I never knew and there were even more revelations in there that I had no come across before.

The result from taking all this information in and acting on what I was reading was that 2 months later I found I was expecting……7 months later I had a little healthy boy and my PCOS has not reoccurred in any of my other pregnancies

This article is extremely well informed and there were so much information I took from it to ensure I was giving myself the best opportunity of conceiving, if you want to know more about PCOS and getting pregnant, have a look here for more information.
