Grand Opening of my Hair Salon
I decorated the salon myself with the help of family and friend to save money and so far it’s going great. My boyfriend has been wonderful, helping me in every step of the way and being my pillar of strength. I don’t think I could have come this far if it wasn’t for him and my family.
As the salon is almost done, I want to start advertising the salon and the opening day. To attract customers I have given 20% off a haircut when they present the leaflet for the first two weeks after the grand opening. I also thought I would advertise my salon on my car which I drive around everywhere, I came across a shop that does vehicle sign writing in Kent which caught my attention and I went in to place my order.
The salon is complete and ready for its grand opening. I spread the word to all my family and friend who then told everyone they know. I was very surprised with the crowd waiting outside and eagerly waiting for the salon to open.
I asked my parents and my boyfriend to cut the ribbon because without them it wouldn’t have been possible. They helped me make my dream come true and hopefully they will help me keep it going and make it a success.
