A year of bad news
It took me few days to accept the news but it took my wife much longer and she closed herself from
everyone. The doctors told me to leave her alone so she can accept it in her own time, so I just let her be but it wasn’t easy to watch your loved one go through something this big on their own.
Two weeks later she finally accepted what is happening, so we went to visit the doctor at the hospital to find out what the next step is. The doctors gave some more bad news, and said that the lump was bigger than they thought and that they need to operate as soon as possible.
We had no time to think much about it, they gave us the date of the operation and we just accepted it. She is having the operation in two days, we need to pack her overnight bag and I need to take time off work so I can be there for here.
Operation was successful and she has recovered fully, and a year later there is no sign of the cancer. It was a tough year for us, so I decided to treat her because she deserves it after all she has gone through.
I found a really cheap Ford Fusion in Essex that I like, so I made an appointment for this evening and I just hope it’s exactly what they advertised.
