The Frederique Constant Highlife Collection In a recent interview with Aletta and Peter, they introduced the Highlife Collection as the flagship of the Frederique Constant Collection, featuring a number of distinctive characteristics. The collection includes a Tourbillon, Heart Beat Perpetual and Heart Beat Day-Date. The Highlife movements are built with the highest quality components and earn the official Swiss chronometer certification based upon the accuracy and criteria regulations.
The Heart Beat Day-Date The new version of the Heart Beat Day-Date introduced by Frederique Constant adds a new element to the Highlife Collection. The Heart Beat is a fabulous timepiece affirming the image of this prestigious Geneva brand with a limited series of only 250 pieces. Offering collectors and aficionados a 27-jewel automatic FC-610 movement featuring a frequency of 28,000 bph, with Côtes de Genève decoration, the Heart Beat leaves little to be desired. The movement is housed in an elegant 18-karat rose gold case, which is individually numbered and boasts a cambered antireflective sapphire crystal, along with a screw-down sapphire caseback that reveals its imposing skeleton balance. The elegant Emaille dial features a day-date indicator at 6 o’clock and a Guichet Heart Beat at 12, and, of course, the brand emblem in solid gold at 3 o’clock. The Day-Date’s dial is adorned with punctured Arabic numerals to complete the look. The Heart Beat Day-Date is water-resistant to 50 meters and offers collectors a choice of hand-sewn Louisiana crocodile strap with folding clasp in gold as an option.
The Heart Beat Retrograde A premier timepiece of the Frederique Constant collection, the Heart Beat Retrograde movement was developed in cooperation with Agenhor Geneva. The Heart Beat is equipped with a mechanical FC-680 automatic winding mechanism, with Côtes de Genève-decorated bridges and is housed in a round stainless steel case. The Heart Beat Retrograde case is individually numbered and boasts a convex sapphire crystal and screw-down sapphire crystal caseback. The crown exclusively controls the hours, minutes and second hands. The timepiece also features a retrograde seconds hand at 6 o’clock, Arabic numerals and leaf hands in black steel. The signature Frederique Constant solid gold appliqué emblem at 3 o’clock brings the design together. The strap is hand-sewn ostrich or the watch is also available with your choice of a signature Frederique Constant stainless steel bracelet. The Heart Beat has a 42-hour power reserve and is water-resistant to 50 meters.
The Moonphase Chronograph Another fine addition to the Highlife line is the Moonphase Chronograph, a multifunction chronograph boasting a sophisticated FC-395 movement complete with automatic winding mechanism and Côtes de Genève-decorated bridges. The movement is housed in an elegant, rounded stainless steel case, individually numbered and featuring a convex crystal, screw-down sapphire crystal caseback. The silvered dial features a 30-minute counter at the 12 o’clock position, and a 12-hour counter surrounds a moon-phase indicator at 6 o’clock. The signature solid gold brand emblem at 3 o’clock accents the center dial and marks the Frederique Constant crest. The Moonphase is water-resistant to 100 meters and boasts a 42-hour power reserve.
