Put More Nourishment Into Meals When Weight Loss Is Your Goal

There is a weight loss method I have just started utilizing of late, and it’s been a terrific way to “add” more nourishment into different types of dinners without adding hardly any calories. This can also help you become leaner, because advanced nutrient density in your meals lowers your appetite and helps control the cravings you might get later.

My plan is not that overwhelmingly new. You have doubtless been told something similar regarding including high density nutrition many times before. However, how I decided to add some of the most nutrient dense foods available to my daily intake is unique. Try adding things like Bok Choy, Mustard greens, Swiss chard and kale to your daily menu.

Even though I’ve always known how vital these are in the nutrition world, using them in meals really never came to mind. Its true you do get some green leafy vegetables with salads, however the greens like kale, bok choy, mustard greens, and swiss chard are significantly more healthy than lettuce and spinach.

The problem with the majority of these nutritious vegetables is the taste, which is why a method to sneak them into a meal is so imperative.

I know that there are most likely other recipes out there that you can use these veggies in, but this is delightful for soups and Italian tomato sauces and it works great.

The first order of business is to pull together a good bit of kale, mustard greens, Bok Choy and or Swiss chard and adjoin them to a large batch of soup broth or tomato sauce. You can also include a bit of onion and a little zucchini in for good measure.

Let everything simmer together until all the greens are good and soft, and then strain all the green, zucchini and onions out and transfer to your blender. Process them until they are nice and smooth then pour this blend back into your tomato sauce or soup to simmer.

loads of people would never consider eating greens such as mustard, Bok Choy or kale separately, yet when you cook them in this manner and then blend them into a puree for soups or sauce, the taste is excellent. You can lose weight while adding nutrient laden vegetables to your meals this way.

Keep in mind that the absorption of vitamins form this pureed blend of high nutritious greens is increased. You actually take in more vitamins and minerals, because the pureed greens are easier for your body to completely digest compared to just chewing them normally.

This plan is wonderful for the family with children who is struggling to get good nutrition. All you have to do is get your recipe and seasonings correct to slide the vegetables in utterly unawares. Kids will never know they are eating healthy when you serve up a steaming plate of spaghetti with this type of Italian tomato sauce! If used regularly this is a superb weight loss strategy.
