The general statement of Martin Luther declared in this speech is all about attaining civil rights by means of non violent approaches. He very clear about his declarations and claims the same with hope and dignity.

In reference to the Constitution and all the Declaration of Independence, Luther states there is every positive aspect of gaining the acclaimed promise for equal rights for every American. He considers that the Constitutional declaration of unalienable rights for life, added by the liberty and absolute pursuit of happiness will be given to white and black man equally. However he also claims that his is a kind of check that has been given to the Negro people and is actually a bad check that has got nothing but ‘insufficient funds’ for any kind of development. This is very true and has been discovered in terms of medical and educational facilities provided t the Negro community.
Luther is very adamant in making the nation aware of Negro’s legitimate discontent. He declares that none of the Negro will stay still, till there is an absolute freedom of life with equality in the persisting society. He further declared the year 1963 as the beginning of this non-violent revolution against civil rights. It was a strong attempt and is the foreground for all the developments that followed in American society. The racial discrimination added by the issues of unequal marks of liberty was further handled from the determinations adopted since 1963.
Issues related to acquisition of militancy in Negro community have been discussed with the motive of not indulging any kind of violence in the society. Luther insisted again and again for the sources of building trust in American society for a better future. He dreamt and hoped that one day or the other the Americans will realize the importance of freedom for the back and will remove the iron curtains of racial and color discriminations. There will be a society free from the stress of slavery and any kind of classification. Luther hoped for a society where justice will be marked on the basis of ethical and humanitarian grounds.
