When speaking about the end times, many people think about the end of the world. This is exactly what these words are intended for you to understand. In the Bible, there are clear signs given that show when it is near. These are false prophets, world wars, diseases, worldwide catastrophe, and once all people around the globe have heard the word of God from the Bible. These all have been said to prove that an end to the world is coming soon, and that Christians should be prepared.
The end times can be explained as the coming to the end of civilization as we know it. The prophecy has been said to be fulfilling in the world today as we know it. Many signs are explained below. One of the things that is mentioned is that there will arise False prophets. This would be people that basically state they are sent by God to do his will. However these people don’t have the same intentions God does and will mislead them. In addition there will be people that will proclaim that they are Jesus Christ, but will be very misleading. The world has already seen some individuals like David Koresh and a few others that were false Christs.
It’s said that wars will arise before the last days. One country will rise up against another in war, while being contagious and spreading to other countries around the globe. Eventually the whole world will be engulfed in a new world war and death and disease will remain.
A sign that end times are near has been said the rise of new diseases that spread and kill millions to billions of people. These kind of diseases have been seen in parts of the globe today that seem to spread rapidly causing infections and death. One of these recently was named to be the bird flu as well as the pig flu. While these have not yet devastated millions many people have died without very little protection from getting infected.
Many other events today have been occurring as well like Earthquakes. This too like a disease can happen with little warning before it happens. Even though there has been increased detection with use of technology, there is still no way to prevent deaths so far in advance of an earth quake before it happens.
When it comes to the point in time when the Bible has been preached through out every country around the globe; this has been said to be another sign of what’s to be. So far today we have seen the bible reaching far parts of the globe like never before. No matter where people live today they can hear the word of God, by radio, television and even on the internet. This is another reason many believe today that this time is even nearer than thought.
The world today as we know it has seen many signs of man kinds ending. This includes diseases that seem to spread from one place to another infecting people and costing lives. The many that come forth and proclaim they are a prophet, but cause only harm. The numerous earthquakes, wars, disasters and the fact that the Bible has reached far corners of the world where even a decade ago it could not. These are all reasons that may convince any Christian that the time is near for it’s written in the Bible that God only knows when. So now only time will tell.
