It is always good practice to purchase a cover or plastic hard-top for your camping trailer. This is to ensure that whilst driving along your beloved camping gear does not get thrown out. With the plastic cover these are often extensions of the trailer which then makes it bigger. These are good if you only have a small car so you cannot have a larger trailer, but you can always make it taller. Only do if necessary as some companies charge as much for the plastic cover as they do for the trailer.
