about stress and panic
Reaction to “adverse” environmental stimuli, mainly external, with which the body can adapt to new environments.
The reaction of the body, hereinafter referred to as stress, is an interaction between factors such as environmental stimuli, (that happen to us or we think might happen), our assessment of the situation (cognitive appraisal), and physiological and psychological reaction of the body, depending mainly on our assessment of the situation.
In the words of Shakespeare’s thought is contained rational, scientifically proven, but visible with the naked eye “in everyday life. It is from our interpretation of events, past, present, or expected, panic attacks depends largely on the physiological response of our body! This is the usual response is commonly called stress.
There is concern that the high popularity of the concept of ‘relative perception of “reality often leads to the belief that objective reality is not important and did not even exist!
Thus, the “fashionable” tendency to minimize or ignore what is unpleasant (negative), and the search for positives and pleasure at any price. Short-sightedness of such thinking and behavior can not long in coming. Based on this conviction therapies are naive and ułudne! Enhance well-being, but not for long, because the reality and so we will! (From the practice of therapeutic serve dozens of examples of job loss, property, home, family and even children, because of the peculiar understood, “positive thinking”.)
Effective anti-stress therapy, we should be closer to objective reality, allow it to better understand – by getting rid of your mental limitations and acquire the knowledge to manage themselves in stressful situations.
However, it must be stressed that this is our cognitive appraisal determines the response of our body. Tragedies of life, often through reinterpretation and support such as family, friend, spouse – do not seem so terrible as minor incidents – after years of ridiculous, and how painful and often devastating health (eg, cause a heart attack or stroke in the brain). Therefore, a crucial skill is adequate to respond to stress!
I wrote a “skill” because it turns out that it is a learned behavior that can change relatively easily. At this, above all, must rely on anti-stress therapy! Correcting the habits and beliefs of the past, usually childhood, has a very deep meaning and helps people who handle it well enough not handle.
The physiological response to “threatening” us is the whole complex stimulus Directorate, from emotional reactions (fear, pain, anger), by stimulating the hypothalamus, the main communicator “between the nervous system and hormonal signals that stimulate neurohormonal secretory activity of pituitary gland, and this, in turn, activates hormones to speed up the metabolism. Epinephrine, which is secreted by the adrenal medulla, increases the efficiency of organs of the body-stimulates the whole body to more effectively respond to the threatening stimulus – a stressor.
