Disney Hotels and Good Neighbor Hotels
Disney hotels have a place to stay for anyone, no matter what the occasion or the size of the party. Disney hotels have an established reputation of being polished, comfortable and accommodating. With over 30 hotels and resorts from which to choose, the only problem may be deciding which one is right for the needs. The resorts and hotels fall into four main categories: Deluxe resorts, moderate resorts, value resorts and Disney vacation club resorts (and deluxe villas). Each category can be included in a Disney package deal with group rates as well.
Categories of Disney Hotels
Deluxe Resorts-Disney Deluxe resorts offer a little more to the guest, to ensure an exciting adventure by day and relaxation by night. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort offers roaming wildlife (within a barrier) remarkably close to the resort. A guest can spot a gazelle or observe zebras in a natural setting. Elks, zebras and exotic birds are among the many animals that can be seen. It may be difficult to leave the resort with an 11,000 square foot pool that offers a water slide for all ages. The spa and fitness center can assist the guest in both staying in shape and winding down after a long and eventful day.
Moderate resorts-The moderate resorts may not be as expensive as the deluxe Disney hotels, but they are nothing short of fantastic. Of the Disney hotels, The Caribbean Resort is the largest on the entire property with over 2000 rooms! This resort is situated to appear like a small village with five different buildings, each named for one of the Caribbean islands. Laid back is the theme, as guests will find it easy to do at this resort.
Value resorts-Disney hotels categorized as value resorts all represent a different theme: All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, All-Star Sports, Art of Animation and Pop Century Resort. All-Star Movies Resort is arranged with five areas that each represent different Disney films, one of which is “Toy Story.” This area boasts a 35-foot replica of Buzz Lightyear.
Deluxe Disney Villas-Of all the Disney hotels, the Deluxe Disney Villas are the cream of the crop. This is ideal for larger families or groups (4-12 persons per room, depending on the size of the room). The old Key West Resort offers 709 rooms, with the Grand Villa being the most prominent (2,022 Sq. feet!). Right away, the guest feels like royalty amidst the palm trees and waterways that surround the quaint villas that are reminiscent of turn-of-the-century Key West.
Disney Good Neighbor Hotels
Many surrounding hotels of the theme park have developed a good reputation and offer a variety of packages that include Disney World. Disney good neighbor hotels. usually provide a shuttle to and from the theme park. A good example of one of the Disney good neighbor hotels is the Anaheim Fairfield Inn by Marriott. Right across the street from Disney World, this hotel has easy access to the theme park. Disney good neighbor hotels are a great way to be close to the park without staying there.
