Removing Whiteheads

Whatever name we call them, the fact is that zits, pimples and whiteheads should be removed fast!

Whiteheads are also known as closed comedones because the pores are blocked by dirt. The white is basically the trapped bacteria in the skin as a result of the small opening of the pores. Like blackheads, they can be squeezed out. However, if you want to learn how to get rid of whiteheads, then know for a fact that this is not the ideal way.

Removing Whiteheads
When trying to remove whiteheads, first make sure that your hands and face are clean. You can unclog pores by steaming your face or washing it with warm water. Make sure that you don’t rub your face and instead gently pat it dry with a clean towel. Now, gently apply pressure to the base of the whiteheads and squeeze. This should easily break the skin. However, if the whitehead doesn’t make a clean break, then just leave it alone. Just do it again when you feel the pimple is ready to burst. The reason for this is that when popped wrongly or done too soon, the whiteheads can leave an unsightly mark or scar that is even harder to remove.

Prevention
Teaching yourself how to get rid of whiteheads is every bit as important as learning how to prevent one. Once you’ve managed to remove all the unsightly open comedones from your face, then it’s time to ensure that the same thing won’t happen again. For this, make sure that your pores are always clean and not blocked by dirt. You can use either benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid to do this. If you’re on a budget, then try making your own cleanser. An example would be a mix of oatmeal and milk used as a face mask. This should help you maintain closed pores. Partnered with a proper hygiene and healthy living, you just might beat the pimples yet.

Learning how to get rid of zits can take toll on your patience. Not only are they persistent, they also take a long time to heal. Add to the fact that there are many things that could trigger them. Although you can avoid most of them, that’s not entirely possible. For example, you can only control acne problems caused by the genes. Usually, periods are also capable of triggering pimples. When this happens, the best course of action would be prevention. Anticipate that the pimples will grow and start preparing yourself. Also, learn to be patient to successfully find out how to get rid of zits. Wait for the effect of the treatments since they take time. Once you’ve settled on a method, then you shouldn’t have any problems.
