Affiliate Marketing and why it’s the best way to make money online
WHAT IS AFFILIATE MARKETING?
We can break up affiliate marketing into 3 main categories:

2) Build
3) Market
Of course, there are ways to make money without some of these (ie. Direct linking to merchant websites from ppc ads, so no website needed), but by and large, the majority of affiliates follow these 3.
WHY AFFILIATE MARKETING IS SO DARN GOOD
Affiliate marketing has been and continues to be an awesome way to make money online. But, if you need some convincing, here are a few reasons it rocks.
a) There are many, many affiliates just like you making millions each year.
There is no difference between you and the affiliates making millions. The only ‘real’ difference is they’re actively applying the strategies we’ll be discussing below. As you’ll see, you can too.
b) Its less work.
There’s no product creation, no cart and payment processing setup, no merchant accounts, no affiliate program, no stock, no shipping, no customer service.
c) It takes less money.
Creating products can be pricey. You have to pay for development, tweaking, testing, etc. None of this exists for the affiliate.
d) Its simple. You have two jobs as an affiliate. Get traffic and send this traffic to a site they’ll likely make a purchase. That’s it.
e) You can make a LOT of money with very little risk.
Because of all of the reasons above, there’s MUCH less investment of time and money in affiliate marketing, over other methods of creating income. This is paired with the ability to make big commissions (many products offer from 50-75% on your sales) on the sales you make. So, you get the lions share of the reward, while avoiding virtually all of the risk.
f) There are an inordinate number of GREAT tools to help.
Affiliate marketing is a big business and there are constantly great, new tools coming out to help affiliates both get more traffic and make more money from their sites.
g) You don’t need to know ANYTHING about the market.
Generally speaking, people buy most products based on a fairly static set of guidelines. They need help, they have poor self image, they want to be better, look better, etc. All you need to know about any market you’re promoting is why people are buying the products. Actual knowledge of the intricacies is superfluous. This makes the sales process very straightforward.
So you can see why, I feel affiliate marketing is simply one of the best ways to make a very large amount of money online. The only thing that is stopping you, is your will to succeed.
