Los Pandos and Investment in Spain?
Los Pandos and Investment in Spain?
In today’s Economic climate, there has been panic in relation to Investment, Banks, the Euro and a whole number of other elements that make up our Economy. So the question has to be asked why invest and why Spain?
Put simply the economy of Spain is the ninth largest economy in the world (based on GDP) ahead of Canada, India and Russia. They are the fifth largest in Europe. Until 2008 Spain was regarded as one of the most dynamic within the EU, attracting significant amounts of foreign investment. Spain’s economy had been credited with having avoided the virtual zero growth rate of some of its EU partners. Spain has also had the advantage of a boom in its Global Real Estate with construction representing an astonishing 16% of GDP.
Then came the Global recession; however Spain’s economy stabilised in first quarter of 2010 and has steadily continued to improve. The key indicators from 2010 show that the trend of the housing crisis altered for the first time since 2008. During the first six months of 2010, property sales started to show an increase and the fall in prices softened as the months passed.
Spain still offers value for money and excellent returns. Despite a slowdown, construction continues and bought in the right location, property remains the favourite form of investment. Young investors can afford to buy in Spain. There is a new trend emerging amongst the young under 30s British to get their first step onto the property ladder abroad as they can ill afford to do so in the UK.
The need is there to find new land investment opportunities in Spain to give investors the best returns on investment. Los Pandos could very well be that investment.
Based in Almansa which is one hour’s drive from Valencia and Alicante, Los Pandos is one that is that little bit different. plans to develop new vineyards, two wineries, three hotels, two golf courses, three ‘eco-villages’ with a total of 600 houses, leisure facilities and a commercial estate. The whole development will work on ‘green’ principles: commercial and residential buildings will be topped with green roofs and much of the energy needed will be generated on site.
Los Pandos is one to watch.
