Once Saved Always Saved: Accepting God
There is nothing more eternally gratifying then a personal relationship with God. Whether or not you have experienced such a glorious knowledge of his presence in your life, it is never too late to start learning about your true purpose in life. It is only through Jesus Christ, the Lord, that anyone can begin to answer the questions of life. Fortunately, once saved always saved provides a means for anyone to secure his or her relationship with God for the rest of time.
For those who do not know, Jesus Christ came to earth very long ago. His purpose here was to spread the word of God and ultimately die for everyones sins. A sin, very briefly, is an act of avoiding God by placing him second to anything personally and immediately satisfying.
Jesus Christ was not only a representative of God, but Him in the flesh form. By dying for the worlds sins, Jesus allowed all people the possibility of entering heaven. However, it is only through the acceptance of the Creator and persistent faith that permits anyone the eternal entry into His home.
For many people, it is a struggle to find and accept the Lord into ones life. However, what is fortunate for mankind is that the Creator is already trying to reach His children, including you. Every event in life is only a way for God to speak to you (or sometimes, even through you). If you can not feel Him now, try to speak to Him. He will be listening.
By communing with the Lord, or creating a personal relationship with Him, one can attain eternal life. Through constant contact with Gods word (the Bible or the word He sends one in life), communion with Him, and daily thoughts about Him, one can strength the bond. In attempts to understand Him, one not only realizes the truths of life, but also truths about himself or herself.
As you continue on your journey to understand not only the Creator, but your purpose in His plan, the truth becomes clear. By the truth, it means that matters which are truly important, surface to the top of the mind, and those that do not, are eliminated or buried. However, only through God and because of Him can one appreciate the truth.
By accepting God and His law into your life, you will allow your soul eternal salvation. He is only waiting for you to notice Him and ultimately for you to wake up to reality.
Although all this has been said, none of it matters unless you make the choice to accept God into your life. The goal of of the Church is not to amass more Christians in the world. In fact, it is not a Christians choice who will accept the Creator. However, through Christians, the Lord is able to speak and contact you. Once saved always saved, as the acceptance of God ensures the strong hold He already has on you. He is waiting for you.
