Kanye West 5th Album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Kanye Omari West or simply known as Kanye West is a popular American singer rapper and record producer. His ticket to fame is when he produced the album “The Blueprint” by Jay-Z, Janet Jackson, Ludacris, and Alicia Keys. His style is influenced by the 70’s music and giving it a new twist to cater the taste of the new generation. Kanye West debut album was released February 10, 2004 with the title “The College Dropout”. The album became number 2 in the U.S. Billboard chart and sold over 441,000 copies during the 1st week. Now his newest and 5th album titled “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” was released 22 of November 2010 with Roc A Fella Records. Kanye West recorded this album in Honolulu at Avex Rercoding Studio from 2009 till 2010. West handled the production together with Jeff Bhasker, Mike Dean and others.
Kanye West 5th album made it number 1 in the U.S. Billboard chart. The album copies sold over 496,000 during the 1st week and as of 16th day of January 2011, the album has already sold ove 941,000 copies in the United States alone. 29,000 copies was sold in Canada and placed number 1 amongst 100 albums. However, in other countries, it didn’t hit the number one spot but it is still in the list of the top selling albums.
