Getting the Hogwarts look
Books turning to movies have captured our imaginations time and again on how to get the look they exude. Even formal wears have been created after being inspired by such movies. we have seen a big suit, purple suit and so on funny and serious looking costumes that have been brought out of the screens to the walks of runways and even the streets of LA (of course with a glam fit for modern era–we don’t live in a fantasy world. One of the most memorable fashion inspirers would be Harry Potter’s look (at least those from Hogwarts).
The vest has come back because of them, showcasing a chic and clean look for office workers who loves to wear knitted sweaters and vests (just like Harry and Ron). However one of the most memorable and fashionable look was the Triwizards Ball which was shown on the fourth installment; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
It was their Tuxedo suits that have inspired a lot of formal attire to go edgier and there’s also the fact that Harry Potter’s own wear was indeed gallant and handsome on him. Hermione’s gown was exquisite however the simple take on Cho Chang’s was more of the simple yet what people usually would prefer. It wasn’t revealing but it did show curves and look elegant.
The Indian attire or Persian take on Harry’s date was another idea that can really be donning for a formal engagement. it has shown that going for the traditional long gowns need a sort of customary touch as well if ladies would want to look unique yet elegant.
Among the tuxedo suits worn that night that really gave a unique yet an Elizabethan era look was that of Ron. It was completely vintage yet it carried the appeal for the whole wizarding scenario. His tuxedo shirt was one that carried on ruffles which looked so dolled up.
If there were other trendy fashion that the wizarding community gave off it would have been their wool overcoats during winter seasons or at least during those Quidditch matches that audiences wear. It can either show a mysterious look or an elegant look.
There are more on the Potter mania that modern fashion has definitely been inspired on. It is one of the trendiest and the most sophisticated and simplest fantasy outfit that is truly marks an unforgettable look on today’s society.
