Facebook application updates, layouts and profiles
Facebook application development is a great endeavor in the social site Facebook and
has wide use. Most business people use these applications to promote their businesses and products. Facebook announced a few aspects that every business profile owner and facebook page owner should have knowledge about and should have implemented before the end of 23rd of august 2010.
We are going to look at the implementations that were required at a flash: Facebook eliminated all the boxes in the profile and pages and sent messages to the holders
about the changes and also did so to their help centers. This was driven at making them aware of the issue they had at hand. This could badly affect a few of the businesses and the facebook applications.
For the people who rely largely on the clicks made to their boxes in the profile would really lose a lot of potential income. Most of them largely depend on this in promotion of their affiliate businesses. The affected groups were advised to ask their visitors to bookmark the facebook applications so as not to lose the visits that were made through their application pages.
Facebook applications Tabs width also gradually changed. The width for the tabs was
reduced by 520px on the face book pages. A number of people were badly affected by this move. This was a great issue for millions on facebook page holders. Most of the tabs that were custom made were greater in width than 520px. When the users visit the page after this implementation period, all this will be scrapped out by this date and all the available welcome tabs would be of 520pxs. This would adversely affect the quality of the image and will be much worse than before when it was 730 pixels by
760pixels wide.
Facebook application development took a turn from that day and the developers and
owners have to bear with it and move on. They now have a task of improvising the
available features for greater outcomes. Hope this will help the users to overcome the
problem created by the recent changes in the layout.
