Using a Family Visa to Emigrate to Australia
Due to its reputation as one of the fastest growing economies and best places to raise a family, Australia is becoming one of the most immigrated to countries in the world, presenting immigrants with a wide array of opportunities. When applying for a family visa to Australia a family member of immediate relation to the applicant must provide sponsorship. One of the most unusual family visas that can be applied for is the independent children sponsorship. If a child of the migrant is independent and living in Australia as a citizen or a permanent resident. The migrant can apply for a sponsored family visa while still living in the country.
In the majority of family visa applications, regardless of which route is used, the relative that sponsors the migrant will need to be able to provide “Assurance of Support”. This consists of providing financial support to pay migration health services and create a bond with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. They will also need to provide evidence that they can financially support the migrant.
