Expanding the business
I have been buying and selling cars from home for a couple of years, now I would like to buy a shop with a large front which I can turn into a showroom. I’ve been dreaming about having my own showroom for a very long time, but never had the money or courage to actually go out and do it.
Opening a showroom is a very big step; there is a lot to consider. I have started to do my research on car dealers in my local area, I have already visited VW dealer Gloucestershire where they had one of the largest showrooms in the area.
I am hoping one day I’ll have a showroom as big as theirs but in the mean time, I just want one where customers can come in to see and feel the cars. By visiting these dealers, I want to find out how they work and what I would need to do.
There is a lot consider, it’s going to be a long and hard journey but I am determined to achieve it. Luckily, I have my family to support me all the way, without them I wouldn’t even think about buying a shop.
I found a big shop with a large front, it’s in the perfect location but the best thing about this shop is that fact that its corner shop. As it’s located in the corner, it comes with front and side forecourts which will give me more room to display the cars. I’m really hoping that everything works out with this shop, as I probably won’t find another one like it.
