MBA EXAM Uttar Pradesh
Admission to Uttar Pradesh management exam is open to Indian national only who have passed the examination from any institute/ university located in the state of UP. The eligible candidates can take admission to all the institutes irrespective of their domicile candidate who have passed the qualifying examination from institutions outside the state of utter Pradesh are eligible to admission to all the course at all the institutions and universities in UP. Except Motilal Nehru engineering college now renamed as NIT situated in Allahabad.
Programs offered- on the basis of up MCAT merit ranking the participating institutes offers the following programs of study. Masters of business administration, bachelors of business administration, master of finance control, post graduate diploma in business administration.
50 % seats are free while 35% are payment seats and 15% are NRI sponsored seats. 21% seats are reserved for scheduled caste 2% seats are reserved for schedule tribe and 27 % seats are reserved for other backward classes candidates on all India basis.
Eligibility for different management courses – for full time management course bachelors degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% in case of sc/st/obc) candidates appearing in final year degree exams can also apply. For part-time management courses bachelors degree with 50% marks (45% in case of sc/st/obc) with 3 years of experience. Some institutions under UP MCAT specify minimum percentage of marks for admission to different management streams at graduation level. To know about the eligibility criterion in a particular institutes candidate are required to consult the concerned institute university.
Information brochure containing full details along with application form can be obtained form the office of the controller. On cash payment as specified in the broacher. The form can also be obtained from sending a bank draft to office of UP MCAT. Application form completed in all respect should reach university office before of at the notified date.
Summery- entrance test containing multiple choice question to judge quantitative analytical ability, English comprehension, general and business awareness, current affairs career aptitude etc. Short listed candidates are called for group discussion and interview.
