A new documentary following Leslie Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana as she attempts to advance her career and make her town more beautiful by helping local nurse Ann Perkins turn a construction pit into a park.
Last Episode Recap: Parks and Rec gave us a superb second episode this week, that was both funny and managed to move the plot forward from many directions.
Ann is on her shift at the hospital, taking care of too many people with the flu, including April who is doing whatever she can to drive Ann crazy, as a revenge for her kissing Andy in the end of the second season.
Leslie also gets the flu, and although she tries to convince herself and her colleagues it’s only allergy, she finds herself in the hospital while the presentation for the Harvest Festival is taking place.
Eventualy also Chris is getting sick, announcing: “the microchip has been compromised”. Ann enjoys taking care of him, he looks more human for a brief moment.
Ron takes Andy to replace sick April for a day, and the two are having a very good time together. Ron: “I like Andy. I’m surrounded by a lot of women in this department. And that includes the men.”
Leslie steals the meds from April and Chris and rushes to speak at the presentation, not trusting Ben to do it right. Leslie: “The floor and the wall just switched. Walk very carefully.”
It’s very clear now that Leslie and Ben has a thing going, and at the end of the episode Chris and Ben agree to ask their superiors to stay longer at the Parks And Recreation Department.
