Sometimes a person needs to complete community service compulsorily in a charity. This type of voluntary service to a nonprofit organization has been made mandatory and forms a part of curriculum in schools and colleges. The voluntary work is done by school children, college students, teachers, professors and lecturers. Such services would aim to promote benefit to the society and the public improvement. Red Cross and blue cross work are a part of voluntary work done by school students and college students. They form a group and do the charity work in order o gain credits for their courses and lessons. The voluntary work done for gaining school and college credits is different from the court ordered community service. In a court ordered community service the person convicted is expected to complete a particular type of work which would educate him of his crime or mistakes. However the voluntary work done by school children and college students is aimed to benefit the charitable organization. They also educate about the quality of life and living it. Even assignments and project work at schools and colleges require the students to complete a voluntary work. At such cases the students must complete the voluntary work on time and submit to their teachers or lecturers.
