The Hogs will meet the Ohio State Buckeyes which finished the season with great scores and many records in the logs of football history. The teams are nearly equal and both teams fans are waiting to see the winner of this epic battle.

This is the first time for the Arkansas hogs to play in the BCS Sugar Bowl. In fact, it is the first time for both teams to meet in period. Both programs are willing to put it all on the line in the effort to make a case for being ranked higher next season in preseason polls.

The game impact was very clear on Ryan Mallett when he was asked about the game. Ryan Mallett is the famous and reliable Quarterback that helped the Razorbacks a lot this season. Ryan, was excited and promised to do his best during that game. The thrill also was obvious with Jake Bequette, the defenseive player of the team, who said that he is hoping a lot of fans will support his team in their bowl appearance.

Arkansas Fans are putting a lot of hope in coach. Bobby Patrino, he has a great history with Arkansas team as he led them to their appearance in the BCS after three seasons. Therefore, the fans are crossing their fingers to see how he is going to deal with the Buckeyes in this long – awaited match. This season ended well for the Razorbacks, they were able to achieve their second best finish with a record of, 6- 2 and their last four wins were against four of the best 25 teams in the country. Although that record is not their best, but it is still one of their greatest records and they are willing to maintain it.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are not the easy opponent to Arkansas, they have their own record of 11 – 1. Their only loss was at the hands of of Wisconsin, which is in the fourth ranked place of the BCS. The game against the Hogs is not going to be easy one as both teams are trying to continue their way up the rankings.
