Bremont Supermarine 500M Limited Edition Diver Watch
Bremont is able to make the world’s best (also my favorite) diver watches. The Bremont’s Supermarine 500, a fine combo of modern diving style and retro theme , is one of the finest examples.
The watch was British designed but made in Swiss. The Supermarine watch line has been fitted with all functions required by diving watches and given a timeless romantic story. It is said that the watch designer got inspiration from classic aircraft like Supermarine Spitfire and the Supermarine S6B Schneider Trophy Seaplane.
The dial walks fine on the line between modern and classic styles. With sufficient lume coating on the large hour markers and hands, the dial is very easy to look at either at day or in the evening. It has large windows for month and date. The case, sized at 42mm, is crafted from top class stainless steel and coated with diamond like carbon that gives adorable resistance to scratches. Like most Bremont watches, the watch case, composed of several pieces, is a “Trip-Tick” case that is highly shock resistant and anti-magnetic. The case is a bit curved for comfortable wearing. What is more, the case maintains an adorable water resistance to 500m meters.The watch keeps the brand’s appealing bezel that is protected by a with a sapphire crystal.
The watch is powered by a Chronometer certified ETA 2836-2 automatic movement that has been modified.. Not everyone like this watch, but I am a huge fan-I love its style and appearance. The watch, available very soon, is limited to 407 pieces with a price tag around $5,000.
