Time Management Tip: Make a daily list of things to do, appointments to keep, and so on.
Don’t Be Late: If you have an appointment, leave one hour earlier. Along with traffic delays and disruption of phone calls, you will have plenty of time to be on time without having to rush like a mad person.
First Thing First: Focus on completing the most urgent things first. Please note that there are things that are important but not urgent. The key to good time management is to focus on the most urgent things first rather than the important ones. Most people are doing this the other way round, that is why you see so many people are running and rushing all the time. Get this thing right and you will be ahead of 90% of people.
Do Not Worry About Minor Things: If you have an important engagement, wedding or other functions to attend, do not waste so much time worrying about the minor things such as whether you are going to look good or not, how people will perceive you if you wear this dress or shoe and so on. Worrying about the little things is the waste of productive time. Conversely, if you are expecting company for the holidays, do not panic because you do not clean the kitchen floor. No one cares, friends come to your house to see you, not the floor.
Do Not Procrastinate: If you’ve started a home project, but you have to pick up a friend at a certain time; drop what you are doing and go. If that doesn’t work, have your friend call you every 15 minutes until you’ve left the house.
