Chef Basket – How did you fry foods without it?
Do you cook with boiling water, grease or oil? Tired of burning your fingers, hands or clothes? Enter the Chef Basket – a great kitchen tool, especially for deep frying and straining foods.
I am a deep fryer. I love to make homemade French fries, chicken, and shrimp. The problem I have with deep frying is the splatter and the burns on my fingers, hands and clothing from the scalding oil. Enter the Chef Basket. Now I can put the chicken into the Basket and then dump the whole basket into the fryer. No need to put the individual chicken pieces into the fryer (with the consequent splattering).
You may not use the Chef Basket every day in your home, but even if you only use it on special occasion cooking (even once a year) it is worth the price of not burning your hands.
Most people (I imagine), will probably want to use the Basket to cook their pasta. Simply put your noodles into the Chef Basket and dump the entire Basket into the boiling pot of water. When the noodles are cooked, take out the basket, using the handy holder, and shake out the water over the sink. It’s just that easy. No more struggling with heavy pots or pans. The product weighs about as much as a normal sized coffee cup.
Everybody hates cleaning up after dinner. With the Chef Basket, you don’t have to spend extra time scrubbing off the food particles – due to its wire design. There simply aren’t many large surfaces designed into the basket. Either rinse under the sink, or put in your dishwasher.
Like many kitchen products, Chef Basket does come with a bonus. Currently, you can get an Everlast Chef’s Knife along with a recipe guide. I almost forgot to mention that this cooking tool folds flat for easy cupboard storage.
