Does Your Business Carry Your Passion?
Life is all about passion and living from a place that allows that passion to course through your veins and every fiber of your being.
What could be better to someone who is truly passionate about traveling then being a part of a travel show and going on trips to new and exotic places all over the globe that someone else is not only paying for but paying you to do?
Of course there is real time dedication to doing such a thing and much work goes into making it happen but for someone who really loves travel, could anything be better? Probably not.
That is the cool thing about passion. It doesn’t matter what you are passionate about, anything can be turned into fulltime income stream if you know the right way to go about it.
So many of us were turned away from following our hearts and our passions and children though. We were told to go to school, get good grades, get a job, and pray to retire someday.
This kind of living may have been acceptable advice a few generations ago even if it wasn’t an ideal way to go about things but nowadays it is just flat out wrong to steer someone into a job or career that is about as stable as the San Andrea’s fault line.
So I am going to give you some basic tips on discovering your passion and turning it into profits!
Sit down for a few minutes and really separate the things you are passionate about from things you like doing as a hobby. I enjoy playing around with graphics arts on my computer occasionally if I am working on a project where I need something but the idea of doing it 40+ hours a week gives me the creeps!
Once you find your passion, think about it from different points of view. Expand on the various options your passion could go in. Too often people think about what they love and then pigeonhole themselves in one tiny segment when a niche always involves several avenues.
Yes on a travel show there is the main host but there is a whole group of people on site at all times recording, setting things up, producing, etc. There is always more than just one way to live your passion and to profit from it.
Now that you have an idea where you want to go, treat it like a business. Set aside a couple hours at least 5 days a week and stick to it. Don’t get bogged down by the little details either, push yourself out of your comfort zone and make things happen.
