Not worth the hassle

It was a lovely Saturday morning in February, the sun was out and the birds were singing. Lying in bed, trying to think of things to do in this beautiful day but the only thing that comes to mind is shopping. I really don’t want to go shopping, as I’ve been told that I spend too much.

After an hour of just lazing around in bed thinking, I finally decided to go shopping, even if it meant I have to spend money. Everyone seems to be busy today, so I guess I’m going on my own which isn’t very good as I tend to spend more when I go on my own.
I left the house after I had breakfast and planned not to return till dinner time, I decided to eat out for lunch as I really wanted some greasy fry food. I was still deciding which shopping centre to go to as I was getting in the car.

I chose to stay local, I couldn’t be bothered to drive and my local shopping centre was 5 minutes from my house. After walking around for a couple of hours, I felt hungry but I couldn’t find anywhere exciting to eat, so I had my usual tuna baguette and a lovely hot cup of tea.

It was the first time ever that I didn’t spend too much; I only bought one item which wasn’t even for me. After hours of just walking around, I decided to call it a day and go home. Got in the car and was ready to go but it didn’t start.

I tried again but still nothing, I couldn’t believe my luck. The car battery was dead, first thing I did was call my dad. While I was waiting for my dad I kept cursing my car, that’s when I decided I was going to buy myself a new road bike. Having cars is too much headache and I don’t have the patience to deal with it.
