By the way, it’s better to offer tips and useful guides than general information.
- Use keyword-rich titles. You need to insert your primary keyword on your title and this is non-negotiable in SEO article writing. I could have used this one “Simple steps to do the process of SEO article writing the right way.” But I opted to use the phrase SEO article writing first because this helps me tell my audience right away what my article is. This will also help in alerting the search spiders about the content of my copy.
- Write articles that are reader-friendly. Since you’re writing for online users, you need to know that these people are looking for articles that are relatively short, scannable, and easy to understand. So, if you’re thinking about writing 10-15 pages, I’d say stop right now as I can guarantee you that nobody will pay attention. It’s better if you write 500-600 word article and if you use simple terms all the time. Of course, you need to make sure that your articles contain useful, in-depth information. After all, this is the only reason why your target audience would want to read your articles.
- Optimize your articles. Last step is to make your articles likable to the eyes of search engines. Start by placing your main keyword on the following spots: first 90 characters of your article, last sentence, and on each of your paragraph (preferably on the first or last sentence). You can also sprinkle related keywords that will help the search spiders in evaluating the relevance of your content to the keywords that you’re targeting.
