If you are not comfortable using vaginal suppositories, you may also use acidophilus as a douche to treat vaginal bv infections. Mix a teaspoon of acidophilus with two cups of water. Grapefruit seed extract
Grapefruit seed extract is derived from the seeds, pulp, and white membranes of grapefruit and has antibacterial properties. As such, it is a very effective way to cure bacterial vaginosis. Mix a teaspoon of Grapefruit seed extract and two cups of water to use it as a douche.
