Lowest CO2 emitting car
The Smart ForTwo continues to bring innovative and clever technology to the automotive market, available at a Smart City-Coupe dealer in York, the Smart Lightshine edition with the CDI engine produces only 86/km of CO2. This level of CO2 output is the lowest figure in the world for a combustion engined car.

The striking special edition Lightshine model is based on the Passion Smart Coupe so comes with the new colour coded front and rear aprons, side-skirts and filler cap. In addition the special edition comes with light green matt body panels, LED daytime running lights, colour coded headlamp bezels, ‘Lightshine’ badging and the new pulse 3-double spoke alloys in an exclusive paint finish.
The interior of the Lightshine edition benefits from an upper dashboard and glove box along with improved materials and new fabric patterns. The Lightshine models also features Smart’s high line navigation system with a new larger touch screen, CD/DVD/SD functionality and iPod interface. The special edition model also benefits from a sporty 3 spoke steering wheel that comes with paddle shift gear changes.
