How to Succeed FAST with Melaleuca

In 2004, Melaleuca, Inc. made clear that it does not permit its Marketing Executives to mention Melaleuca or its products/services or compensation plan in ads or directory listings. All such communications must be absolutely generic. So, how do you advertise your new business and build a team strong and fast, when your hands are almost tied?

I say almost, because as a Melaleuca Marketing Executive, you CAN be generic when looking for prospects. However, this still makes it very laborious to build your team so that the price of the products you MUST buy every month to stay active aren’t coming directly out of your family’s pocket book, but instead come from your residuals. One of the tricks is to have the RIGHT generic capture page.

If you were lucky enough to sign on to a “team” site – one of the ways some reps have been able to get around the mention of the company name online – then they probably provide you with a lead capture page, and a generic name to advertise. Hopefully the leader of your site is also training you intensely on how to grow your business.

If you signed on with someone who’s not training you nearly every day for the first 2 weeks, you’ll have to take matters into your own hands. The key is LOTS of leads and FAST, and the know how to speak to them once you have them. That lead capture page isn’t going to do you ANY good if you can’t show them the benefits. And if you don’t know how to make connections.

So, how to succeed in the business you believed in enough to commit to every month without being able to advertise the name?

You must understand that if you did join with one of the ” Mela teams” ( The Why Circle, Moms Make More, Wealth and Wellness Team, The Horizon Team, CEO Moms, The Mom Team, Business At Home Success, it goes on and on.) that you’ll only get the training from the members of that team. You’ll only get the benefits that they’ve put together for you. If you’re on a team, you’ll have a leg up on the reps that are out there learning how to do this on their own.

Take all the free training you can get – but understand that some of the things those uplines are teaching you may be detrimental to your business. If you are pitching your business first, before people even know you, you are driving them away.

Think about how you feel when someone in the mall comes at you with a clip board and wants you to do a survey. Think about how you feel when your approached in the grocery store by someone trying to get you to sign up for a credit card. THAT is how people feel when you come at them with your business opportunity.

How can you change it? By emulating what other successful people in OTHER companies are doing, within your own Melaleuca business, and some Attraction Marketing Training.
