V For Vendetta Movie Kicks Ass
I must confess that the day I watched a clip of “V For Vendetta” on the movie theater I wasn’t any all-around be willing to pay for a ticket for watching that guy using a funny mask on his face. It appeared to me it could be one more of those simple movies extracted from a not very known “comic” (at the least for me) which are appearing in theaters very often these days. The good news is that I watched it, I think I was judging this movie wrong but not being totally fair while using writer and director.
It had been quite surprising to adhere to the story as well as continuos resemblance to what is happening today in a not too distant country and not too strange neighborhoods. Inside the movie is England which has been taken over by a group of fanatics which have concluded that their reason to reside is power and the imposition of his world model and ideas over everyone and everywhere. There’s a continuos war outside the borders and inside democracy has ended; meanwhile fear is alive. People has lost the potency of questioning reality and take conscience from the terrible consequences of living under a real decadent regime. It is a model based not in reason not in justice. Could be the model “fascists” preach, where obedience along with a “clock-like” functioning in the society within the interest of a few “chosen ones” is needed.
But suddenly there’s a problem menacing the “status-quo”, they (not understanding) have created their very own finisher. It is a figure that generally seems to us as being a mix of revenge with a revolutionary mind, its name is “V”. Although the movie causes it to be closer to a straightforward vengeance thirst on this character, a bad point for that writer, but anyway; the film put us before tyranny being challenged by a single questioner, a single doubt of what’s been happening compared to that society and his awesome menace to multiply those doubts once the right time has come, this is…The 5th of November.
There is also the human side of “V”, he meets the girl in the movie as a result of his opportune showing while she actually is about to be raped by the group of secret agents of the “fascist” regime who have catch her walking on the wrong hours. About to catch even the who owns your time providing the preachers of “England Prevails” will be in power. She escapes safe thanks to “V” but simply to be initiated to the world of people who will change that world. She is going to be the guest and prisoner of “V” until she finally learns that there are nothing to fear but fear itself.
At the end there seems to certainly be a split with the vengeance appetites of “V” and the revolutionary intentions that have been growing because story develops. It might be somewhat clear that everything from the old regime must die, including “V”, but he’s got left a final gift and maybe a lesson for individuals who want to learn it. Passions participate in individuals and can be extremely effective forces; but revolutions can not be made by 1 or 2 individuals, revolutions are produced by the conscience and willing of the people.
