An Experience With Microdermabrasion Scar Treatment Option
As someone who’s had 60% success I’ll tell you my experience with Microdermabrasion scar treatments. I had a series of sessions which alternated between microdermabrasion and glycolic peels with a 4 week interval. So one month it’d be a peel and next month it would be micro. With each session my doc increased the setting of the dermabrasion and peel.
I used Retin-A cream at night as per her directions and gradually she started to increase the % of cream too. She also gave me a sunscreen with spf 40 and insisted that I wear it at all times even if I was only indoors as skin becomes very photosensitive even the lights indoors.
After 6 months everyone I knew started telling me that my face had cleared up and I got a lot of comment. Except for pigmentation marks on the corners of my mouth and on chin everything else went away, there are still some pores on my cheeks but that’s nothing compared to how my face looked when I started off.
So she told me that if I could afford laser treatments even those would be gone within a 4-5 sessions. Since right now I’m jobless and i can not afford any more treatment I’m yet to go in for the procedure.
