London: Spoilt for Choice

When in London, there are so many things to do that you are really spoilt for choice. But, for many visitors who are simply passing through, the closest to London that they get is a long stop over at the one of the Heathrow Airport hotels. As this is outside of Central London why not make the most of your time and take a scenic bus tour into the English countryside.

Depending how long your stay over is you can even reach the coast. One of the most popular beaches is located at Brighton in East Sussex where the pebbled beach slopes down to meet the brisk wind and cold sea. It’s actually not as bad as it sounds and has some beautiful landmarks to see as well as a lovely promenade that runs parallel to the sea.

One such landmark which is synonymous with Brighton is the Royal Pavillion. The building resembles and Indian palace with domes and intricate decorative paneling work. The pavilion is in tip top condition and visitors can gain admission to the amazing interior for a small admission price. You can feast your eyes on a fusion of Chinese, French and English decorative styles found in the banqueting, music and royal bedrooms.

A day trip to Brighton is worth the effort, especially as most visitors tend to crowd into the capital city making lines long to get into exhibits and shows. To ensure your plans come together contact the staff at Heathrow hotels information desk and tell them what you would like to do. I am sure that if you let them know in advance they will try their best to accommodate your trip to an English beach and have you back in time to refresh in one of the Heathrow Airport hotels and catch your flight on time.
